Have you ever wanted to change the brightness straight from your Home Screen? Or wanted to have it perfectly halfway  or a quarter of the way up? I have found a great file in Cydia known as Brightness Icons. It's a free download, which means you should go ahead and download it.

Brightness Icons

Brightness Icons adds two Icons to your Home Screen. They don't open and you can't delete them. They are more-so buttons. One button is labeled "Up" and the other is labeled "Down". Can you guess what they do? Up turns the brightness up, and down turns it down. The name is definitely fit for it. Brightness Icons.. It changes your brightness and there are two Icons.
