Updated Tethered Jailbreak for iOS 5.0.1

The Developers have finally released an update version of Redsn0w. This version is makes it much simpler to Jailbreak iOS 5.0.1.

Written Instructions:

First Download Redsn0w 0.9.9b9. Save it to your Desktop for easier access. If it says you need to extract it, extract it to your Desktop.

Once you have downloaded Redsn0w and extracted it, connect your iDevice.

1. Open Redsn0w 0.9.9b9
2. Click Jailbreak
3. (**Be prepared to hold the home and lock buttons**) Click Next
4. Follow the on-screen instructions
5. Once it finishes, click <Back
6. Click Extras 

At this point, wait for your iDevice to fully reboot.

1. Now Click Just Boot
2. ( **Be prepared to hold the home and lock buttons**) Click Next
3. Follow the on-screen instructions
4. Once it is finished you can close Redsn0w

Now your iDevice should be Jailbroken. In Cydia, once it has Prepared the Filesystem, it will close out of Cydia. Re-open it, then it will ask you "Who Are You?" Click Developer. This is necessary!

Now remember, it is Tethered, meaning you cannot turn it on or off until you Read: Semi-Tether: iOS 5-5.0.1.
